Project

The conference will invite 50 mixed-race students from years 9/10 to talk about their lived experience, develop individual school action plans and make recommendations for future policy makers.

Aims

To create a platform for young people from mixed-race backgrounds to have a their voice heard

To explore issues and agendas related to them as a group

To make recommendations to schools, local authority services and government on mixed-race issues

To bring together a group of mixed-race students in one space where they can share experiences and talk about the things they do not get an opportunity to talk about.
