Project

This was a conference where 50 mix-d race students from years 9/10 got together to talk about their lived experience, developed individual school action plans and made recommendation for future policy makers.

Aims

To create a platform for young people from mix-d backgrounds to have a voice and be heard

To explore issues and agendas related to this group

To make recommendations to schools, local authority services and government on mix-d issues

To bring together a group of mix-d students in one space where they could share experiences (positive and negative) and ideas in a positive but purposeful atmosphere
